HOW YOU CAN HELP
Working Wardrobe relies on the generosity of like-minded individuals and organisations to keep the store stocked and running. Here are some of the ways you can help us continue to do the work we do.
1. DONATE CLOTHING AND OTHER ITEMS
If you have any appropriate interview clothes you no longer need, please consider donating them to us. You'll find a full list of items we need below.
We welcome any new or “gently worn” suits and smart clothing that would help our customers make that first impression. If you're a retailer and can donate any surplus stock, please click here to get in touch.
If you're an organisation, you could arrange a suit drive: a clothing collection for us at your company. Click here for more details on arranging a suit drive.

2. ARRANGE A SUIT DRIVE
Your organisation can help by organising a 'Suit Drive'. Here's how:
-
Promote Working Wardrobe internally, providing colleagues with a link to our website and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and X)
-
Identify a time during which your employees can bring in their unwanted clothing.
-
Set aside a drop point for your employees to drop off their donations.
-
Once you've collected all your donations, click here to get in touch and we'll advise where to bring your donation. Alternatively, you can deliver your donation to one of our drop points- just click here to find the ones nearest to you. Please ensure your collection is adequately packaged.
-
If you're unable to drop off your donation, you can also use a reduced rate courier service called DropPoint. For more information, visit the DropPoint website.

3. GIVE UP SOME OF YOUR TIME TO VOLUNTEER WITH US
Working Wardrobe is a collaboration of people coming together to help those less fortunate on their way into work.
We need lots of volunteers in different roles. Our volunteers can be from organisations looking to donate employee time or from members of the public:
-
Stylists: do you have a styling background or maybe you just have an eye for it? Can you help our customers in choosing the right outfit and boost their confidence by being warm, friendly, and approachable?
-
Interviewers: you'll help our customers with their interview and presentation skills in a one-to-one appointment. If you're a professional or have a HR/recruitment background, we'd love to hear from you.
-
Shop floor/stockroom assistants: you'll help to keep the store up and running- organising and displaying our stock. If you're from a retail background or you're just highly organised and love clothes, please get in touch.
